Peter Tuhársky
Peter Tuhársky vyštudoval Fakultu prírodných vied, Univerzity Mateja Bela v Banskej Bystrici so zameraním na geografické informačné systémy.
Od roku 2003 pracuje na Mestskom úrade Banská Bystrica na referáte informatiky, kde má na starosti implementáciu a administráciu sieťových služieb a serverov (Linux) a správu integrovaného informačného systému.
K hlavným tímovým úspechom patrí vybudovanie komplexnej serverovej infraštruktúry a jej migráciu na Linux, plošné nasadenie OpenOffice.org, Mozilla Firefox a Mozilla Thunderbird na desktopoch, dočasné nasadenie 50 desktopov GNU/Linux a štandardizácia sieťových služieb a používaných formátov

Open Source technológie na MsÚ v Banskej Bystrici | Kongres ITAPA 2007: Living Online
The IT dpt. of the Municipal office - City of Banská Bystrica, has been interested in the open-source technology for years. We have deployed many open-source based solutions for the office, both on server and client side of the infrastructure. We embrace the open standards, accordingly to the strategic documents of Slovak Republic and the EU, and following the legislative. Our presentation will be focused on the approach, open-source products we use, open standards, the reasons and ways of their deployment, together with our experience. The presentation will grade with the open-source GIS solution of our Main Architect Unit.
