The session will focus on organisations handling larger volumes of documents, operating across multiple sites, using several levels of approval, and relying on interconnected processes involving document management, purchase orders, invoicing and accounting. Municipalities and other public authorities will be among the entities that will primarily need to be able to receive electronic invoices. It is therefore essential to assess the readiness of both their financial systems and their internal document workflows. eInvoicing does not merely change the format of a document; it can affect the entire process, from receiving an invoice through to its payment.
