Pôdohospodárska platobná agentúra deployed a new line-of-business system for processing subsidies in under three months. The key was collaboration with the Úrad podpredsedu vlády pre plán obnovy a znalostnú ekonomiku and the use of the open ISPO software under the EUPL license. The solution was customized by the „boys from Bystrica“ and runs in the MIRI cloud. PPA got the assignment to modernize the „PPA system“ as quickly as possible, so it turned to the existing ISPO system, which the Úrad podpredsedu vlády made available thanks to the EUPL license. After signing the contract, the system was deployed in the cloud within a month, with another six weeks of customizations. Collaboration between the PPA team and the supplier took place in short cycles – 13 two-hour meetings, where requirements were continuously incorporated.
