The vision of the development of KIB public administration from the point of view of MIRDI SR
The Ministry of Investments, Regional Development and Informatization has presented a comprehensive vision for developing cyber and information security in public administration. It rests on four pillars: security measures, environment standardization, education, and awareness. The presentation outlines a series of concrete projects, calls, and services designed to achieve these goals. The ministry supports raising the level of protection primarily through project calls. These include support for building security monitoring centers, initiatives for regional self-government, universities and healthcare facilities, as well as assistance to municipalities with up to approximately 6 000 residents. An early response system is also being prepared to connect new technical solutions with incident management and build on security audits and vulnerability assessments. Participation in projects depends on the conducted audit and self-assessment under applicable legislation. Physical security is also an important chapter: the goal is to build 54 secured areas for critical infrastructure entities within selected state administration bodies. Workshops for the call were held in cooperation with the authority responsible for the relevant law to involve the widest possible range of eligible entities. The government is also strengthening the capabilities of its CSIRT unit and calls on public authorities to connect to its services instead of building their own isolated capacities. The aim is to concentrate expertise and accelerate a joint response to incidents.Projects and calls: from monitoring to critical infrastructure
