Data economics in healthcare: examples from selected therapeutics areas
The data economy in healthcare is closely linked to economic assessments in healthcare, which are increasingly being used outside the field of drug policy. Economic assessments in health care are de facto one part of the economy that deals with the efficiency, cost, value and behavior of the various components of the healthcare delivery system, especially in terms of resource consumption. In our short presentation, we will look at how the data economy - namely the direct and indirect costs of the selected diagnosis consumed - can influence the decision-making process in the healthcare delivery system from the perspective of key stakeholders.
