The ITAPA Award - a unique competition for the best projects that have successfully implemented the vision of modernizing and digitizing public administration - was set up simultaneously with the ITAPA International Congress.
 

ITAPA 2019 PRIZE
Best Society Digitization Project

Competition Goal:
• acknowledge high-quality, innovative and interesting projects and their developers who helped to simplify and streamline public administration processes
• appreciate mutual cooperation of all parties involved
• enable the exchange of ideas and experiences

All submitted projects and solutions are evaluated by a committee composed of Slovak and Czech IT experts, representatives of the academic community, key representatives of eGovernment in Slovakia, as well as representatives of information technology media. The ITAPA Award is announced in cooperation with the Faculty of Informatics and Information Technologies of the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava.

Since 2014, there has been a regular announcement of the Radio Slovakia Audience Award at ITAPA, where Radio Slovakia listeners can vote for the most useful and meaningful project.

In 2017, a new category was introduced. The V4 ITAPA Award targets projects developed in the countries of V4 which use information and communication technologies to improve public administration services and mutual cooperation. The aim of this award is to highlight the best and most innovative V4 projects that deserve recognition and can serve as an inspiration for others.

ITAPA Award winners are traditionally announced at a prestigious event - ITAPA Gala Evening, which will take place on the first day of the International Congress, which will be on 12 November 2019.
