Rastislav Cesnek
Rastislav Cesnek is architect focused mostly on delivering enterprise architecture and solution architecture consultancy to customers across domains. Rastislav worked for 10 years in Whitestein Technologies primarily as IT analyst, solution architect, consultant and developer on multiple projects for customers across various domains mostly in finance, telco and automotive. He participated for over 4 years on development of BPMN platform for modeling and execution of business processes. Afterwards, Rastislav worked for 4 years in Hewlett-Packard Slovakia as solution architect and developer for customers mostly in public sector and automotive. He joined BiZZdesign in March 2014 as enterprise architect supporting customers in CEE region by delivering workshops and consultancy on application of enterprise architecture, TOGAF and ArchiMate, delivering TOGAF and ArchiMate trainings, and consulting on application of BiZZdesign tools for enterprise architecture modeling.

Public administration needs to be adaptive and capable in many aspects. Two of the essential elements is efficiency towards users and organizations and internal efficiency. Achieving external efficiency requires to meet the needs of users and providing them with a simple service with modern technology and channels. Internal efficiency means designing such services from business level - efficient processes - to IT systems - efficient IT systems and technologies. A legislative process must support these aspects - by allowing, encouraging and not limiting the digitalization.
Enterprise Architecture is an instrument that enables these aspects to be named, coordinated, and developed in a controlled manner.

It does not work without architecture repository! | Medzinárodný kongres ITAPA 2015: No Borders
Development, management and operations of architectural ability of public administration requires management of many architectural outputs. Effective management of architectural work products calls for formal taxonomy for various types of architectural assets, related processes and storage tools. Development and management of mutual architectural repository as common base for information and data is therefore key factor of successful management of public administration architecture.
In the presentation we will introduce the Central architecture repository for public administration in the Slovak Republic.
