Pavol Chudý

NRSYS, Medical Equipments Director
He holds a degree with a specialization in medical technology and has more than 40 years of experience in the field of medical technology and healthcare informatics. He has served in statutory and executive roles in several companies, including Chirana and General Electric Medical Systems (USA), where he was involved in the largest project delivering diagnostic imaging technology for the new Bratislava–Petržalka hospital, as well as Shared Medical Systems (USA), now CompuGroup Medical. His major projects include the implementation of comprehensive HIS, RIS, LIS, EIS, and pharmacy information systems for the F. D. Roosevelt University Hospital in Banská Bystrica; a comprehensive HIS, RIS, LIS, pharmacy IS, EIS, and PACS for the Central Military Hospital SNP Ružomberok; a comprehensive laboratory information system for UNILABS; and the eHealth project involving the first integrations of HIS and LIS for the National Health Information Center.
 

He has been working at NRSYS for more than five years, where he established and developed a second division focused on the delivery and sales of medical imaging technology. At NRSYS, he built partnerships with numerous manufacturers (Shimadzu, DMS IMAGING, GENORAY, Control X Medical, AB-CT, BARCO medical monitors), healthcare software providers such as INFINITT (PACS and VNA with AI support), and AI software vendors (RADformation, LIMBUS, LUNIT, OLEA Medical, CORELINE, Clariπ, TERARECON, VUNO, mediCAD). Key projects included the supply of X-ray equipment for the General Directorate of the Prison and Judicial Guard Corps, the delivery of digital X-ray systems and a nationwide centralized prison PACS with a central virtual server in Bratislava, and a project for the Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic focused on improving radiotherapy planning using artificial intelligence with LIMBUS AI software. He works closely with the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA), South Korea, facilitating numerous exchange visits between Slovak and Korean healthcare professionals. During the initial rollout of eHealth Slovakia, he served as a member of the National Health Information Center’s working group for healthcare informatics standards representing HIS vendors. He holds multiple professional certifications and has completed numerous trainings and congresses focused on healthcare management worldwide. Currently, he applies his extensive experience to improving process efficiency in healthcare and to the implementation of innovative AI and robotics technologies.
