She graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of Comenius University in Bratislava earning the degree of MUDr.. She is certified in pediatrics, then worked as a doctor until 1996. Since 1996 she has been working in the pharmaceutical industry. More than 20 years in the company AbbVie, where she held various positions. Since 2007 she has been working on drug policy and access to innovative treatments for Slovak patients.
