He is an Associate Professor and Deputy Director of the Institute of Information Technology Law and Intellectual Property Law at the Faculty of Law of Comenius University in Bratislava, as well as a researcher at the Kempelen Institute of Intelligent Technologies (KInIT). He studied law at Comenius University in Bratislava and completed postgraduate studies in Law and Technology (LL.M.) at Tilburg University in the Netherlands. His research and teaching focus on artificial intelligence regulation, data protection and digital law. He is the author of several academic publications, including university textbooks on data protection and artificial intelligence regulation. As Slovakia’s sole representative, he is a member of the AI Advisory Forum, the European Union’s advisory forum on artificial intelligence. He also contributed to the development of the European Code of Practice for General-Purpose AI Models (GPAI Code of Practice), and his work has been cited by the Constitutional Court of the Slovak Republic, the United Nations and the OECD.
