Martin Śperka
Director of the Computer Museum of the Slovak Academy of Sciences. He knows the background story behind every exhibit on display. He is also a living witness to the development of information technology at the Academy. He studied Technical Cybernetics at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the Czech Technical University in Prague. He completed several study stays abroad in the fields of computer design and computer graphics in the USA (1981) and the United Kingdom (1993, 1996). He worked at Datasystém Bratislava (1970), at TESLA Orava, and later at VÚVT Žilina (1971 - 1972). At the Institute of Technical Cybernetics of the Slovak Academy of Sciences in Bratislava (1972 - 1991), he conducted research in the field of computer graphics for the automation of Ю MOS mask design and in the generation of patterns for electron lithography.
