Doc. MUDr. Karin Gmitterová, PhD. Graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Comenius University in 2002 and subsequently took up a position as a doctoral student at the Second Neurological Clinic of the Faculty of Medicine, where she worked until 2023. Since 2023, she has been working as the head of the Neurological Clinic at SZU. Her research activities are wide-ranging, focusing on neurocognitive diseases and the clinical aspects of neurodegenerative diseases. In her scientific practice, she focuses primarily on the diagnostic aspects of dementia. In addition to the most common neurological diseases, her clinical activity is focused primarily on the field of dementia.
