Jindřich Kalíšek
Lawyer specializing in information and new technology law, especially personal data protection, cybersecurity, IT services, software and compliance. He has more than 15 years of experience in providing legal advice in the Czech Republic, the EU and the USA and has collaborated with major Czech and international companies in the fields of IT, cybernetics, the gaming industry, logistics, energy and investments. He has worked in leading law firms, headed the IT law section at PRK Partners and worked as a personal data protection officer in an international investment group for five years. He is actively engaged in lecturing and academic activities - he teaches at the Faculty of Law of Comenius University in Prague, trains for the Czech Bar Association and is the main guarantor of the CYBER SECURITY ACADEMY. He is also a registered mediator in the field of IT and intellectual property, holder of a number of international certifications (IAPP, ISC2, NÚKIB) and laureate of the "Person of the Year 2019" award.

Cybersecurity between Scylla and Charybdis (15 min)
Cybersecurity for organizations today is not an option or a choice, but a necessity resulting from an increasingly complex security situation and key technological megatrends. From massive digitization, through automation and artificial intelligence, to new forms of communication—all these phenomena increase the complexity and fragility of our hyper-digitized world. Technology cannot be implemented without considering its security, regulatory requirements, compliance, and social impacts. The keynote will highlight the often overlooked aspects of the cybersecurity implications of new legislation and security technologies, the need for an ethical framework for their implementation, and the purposeful development of public competencies in the areas of artificial intelligence and post-quantum cryptography.
