Jaroslav Kacer
Former Deputy Mayor of Brno responsible for Smart City, Strategy, and Digitalization. He played a key role in launching the Brno iD and data.brno.cz projects, as well as in developing the long-term #brno2050 strategy. He participated in the international RUGGEDISED project (Horizon 2020) and contributed to the development of the Špitálka smart district. He initiated the DEM initiative focused on advancing electron microscopy and supporting innovative entrepreneurship and talented students. He is the creator of the concept behind the revitalized URBIS trade fair, which focuses on Smart Cities. Currently, as an expert at the Smart Cities Club, he collaborates with Slovak municipalities on implementing innovations, sustainable urban planning, and international projects in the fields of Smart Cities and environmental sustainability. He is also the founder of the inDays 2026 initiative and summit.
