Ján Čupka

Expert in management systems

He works as a trainer, consultant, auditor, and assessor of management systems. After graduating in Technical Operation of Telecommunications from University Žilina in 1987, he worked for TESLA Liptovský Hrádok, a state enterprise, for seven years in the areas of development, manufacturing, testing, metrology, and quality management. Since 1993, he has cooperated with persons responsible for management systems in organizations in the business sector, public administration, and service provision in Slovakia and the Czech Republic. Cooperation with public (state, local government, and organizations established by them) as well as non-public (private, church, and non-profit) providers of educational, healthcare, and social services is based on legislative requirements and the needs of relevant external and internal stakeholders. Improving the quality and efficiency of provided services is achieved through the application of a project-process approach and a structured system of performance indicators and satisfaction perception metrics. He has been a long-term assessor of the National Quality Award of the Slovak Republic and Corporate Social Responsibility, as well as the EFQM 2024 model, CAF model, and CER model, and serves as an auditor according to the standards ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 27001, and ISO 37001. Since 2006, he has been involved in more than 20 European Union projects aimed at improving the quality of services provided by public administration institutions.
