Since its inception, she has been responsible for the legal architecture of the solution to ensure that electronic nursing documentation strengthens nurses’ professional autonomy and protects their decision-making in everyday clinical practice. As a lawyer, she works in the field of long-term care and systematically focuses on regulatory and liability aspects of providing healthcare and social care. She is thoroughly familiar with the environment of social service facilities, nursing care homes, hospices, and home nursing care agencies (ADOS) through close cooperation on the implementation of electronic documentation and the setup of processes to ensure they are professionally sound and legally secure. She is guided by the conviction that digitalization must not shift risk onto individuals, but should create a clear, transparent, and defensible framework for professional practice. Electronic documentation should protect professional decision-making, not weaken it.
