Daniel Milo
A lawyer with a doctorate in criminal law and over 20 years of professional experience in legal analysis, public policy analysis, and countering extremism and hybrid threats. He has worked in state administration, NGOs, and international institutions (OSCE-ODIHR, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Interior, GLOBSEC, TechSoup). As an advisor and expert, he has long been working on the issues of illegal and harmful online content, disinformation, and systemic risks to democracy. At the OSCE, he has led initiatives to address hate content on the Internet in cooperation with technology companies. As Director of the Centre for Combating Hybrid Threats at the Ministry of the Interior, he created the first analytical unit. He currently serves as a national representative on the Digital Services Act (DSA) implementation team at DG CONNECT, where he applies his years of experience in monitoring, enforcing rules, and building trust in the online environment.
