Marcel Bezák
As an Enterprise Architect, Marcel is focused on building capabilities that enable business transformation and support continuous digitalization of enterprises. He promotes clear value of aligning ICT of the organization with its business through enabling the Enterprise Architecture methods, frameworks and tools. Marcel collected over 15+ years of IT and 10+ years of IT Strategy & Architecture experiences through more then 30 projects and in various industries, mainly public sector, banking, telco and automotive. Marcel graduated from the Slovak University of Technology with a master of science degree in software engineering. After the graduation, he started to work as a SW developer & designer and continued to develop himself through multiple architecture roles - Information System Architect, Solution Architect till his current role - Enterprise Architect. He was working as an Architect for several companies as Siemens, HewlettPackard or Microsoft in the past. Nowadays he has been working for BiZZdesign.

Why should you attend the lecture?
Architecture is a clearly defined organization structure. It provides the ability to comprehensively document, model and analyze public administration at all levels, while plan changes that may result from the various reform plans. Enterprise Architecture is a managerial methods for decision support and strategic planning in the public sector.
Annotation:
Enterprise architecture is a conceptual tool helping the public administration better understand their own structure and operations. It provides public administration map and also a tool for planning of organization, business and technology changes. It is an important tool of their strategy and management. Institutionalization of enterprise architecture brings many benefits, on the other hand, when the implementation is not done, it generates serious risks with direct impact on successful operation of public administration. Management and administration of the architecture is becoming a strategic tool of public administration management in Slovak Republic. Today the development and maintenance of the architecture of their organizations and their solutions is a condition for project funding; soon it will be legal obligation.
