Information system for management of social benefits (IS RSD)
IS RSD is included in the Operational Programme Information Society and covers part of eGovernment services in the social area. The main goal of the project is to provide electronic services for citizens to interact with the Local Offices of Labour, Social Affairs and Family. These electronic services are intended to enable citizens to send applications for social benefits via Internet, obtain information on progress in the decision process on the application, view lists of benefits paid etc. IS RSD will raise the efficiency of processing of social benefits by automation of the process of managing the applications for social benefits, by automation of obtaining the relevant inputs from other information systems, assessment of the benefit, calculation of the benefits and, finally, the payment of the benefits. Through implementation of electronic statements in processing of social benefits the amount of paper communication will be reduced.
