It is a response to the shortage of admins and to the fact that attackers already use artificial intelligence. Companies typically start by collecting logs and gradually add tools for event correlation and forensic analysis. In larger environments, automation and integration with add-ons such as a sandbox or deception come into play. The third step is the effort to gain visibility across the entire network, from traffic to endpoints, sometimes also with monitoring of leaks on the dark web.
