On the first day of the Spring ITAPA 2025 conference, we will focus on topics from the field of digital innovations in state and public administration. Together with the experts, we will also look at the latest innovations in artificial intelligence (AI).

What are the plans for the new MIRDI management, and where will the digitalisation in Slovakia go? We will tell you more about the new NCIVS, what it will mean for the authorities, and how to ensure its implementation. Slovakia has launched a revolutionary project, eIdentity and eDocuments, thanks to which citizens can carry their ID and driving licenses directly on their mobile phones. The discussion panel will focus on the current possibilities of use - from online login to e-services to identification at police checkpoints - and on the project's future development. We will look at the planned expansion of digital documents in banks, insurance companies, and transport operators and the potential of mobile identity in the everyday lives of citizens and businesses.

How should Slovakia use the potential of artificial intelligence for its development? The discussion will focus on the vision of the state, the needs of education, the role of industry, and concrete steps for successful and responsible implementation of AI. We will raise issues of the digital divide, ethics, infrastructure, and data management. A key topic will also be the plan to integrate AI into education, bringing new curricula, AI tools into schools, and support for teachers starting in 2025. The aim is to prepare pupils for the digital future and ensure that AI does not create new inequalities. The discussion will offer a cross-section of the attitudes of the state, the private sector, and the Department of Education on using AI to benefit people, the economy, and public administration. Slovakia can become an active player if it acts in a coordinated, responsible, and value-driven way.

The discussion panel "How to clean up eGovernment by 2027?" will focus on concrete and workable solutions that can improve the state of the state's digital services. Six experts from both the public and private sectors will answer ten key questions—from central management and legislation to human resources, infrastructure, and cooperation with suppliers. The panel will offer a space for an open and substantive debate on what needs to be done to make eGovernment really work.
