Electronic insurance account
The electronic account of the insured person of Sociálna poisťovňa is becoming a key specialized portal for e‑government services. It was created in 2022 as a natural continuation of electronic solutions for contribution payers and today has approximately 270,000 active users with year‑over‑year growth above 100%. Its aim is to simplify access to information and services and reduce the administrative burden on citizens. Sociálna poisťovňa has been among the pioneers of digitization in communication with contribution payers since 2016. It built on this experience by creating a specialized portal in line with e‑government legislation, which is gradually covering almost all areas. Success grows along with the content: once the account is activated, insured persons have access to services ranging from contribution collection through short‑term benefits to pension insurance.
