ESG data are diverse, and collecting them across companies and supply chains is often complex. The presented digital questionnaire platform automates, standardizes, and clearly manages this process. It helps both newcomers and more advanced companies set up, verify, and improve their ESG approach.
Questionnaire: general and sector-specific part
The platform uses a questionnaire with a general section for all companies and a sector-specific section tailored to the industry. It is based on the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals and on the two most widely used reporting standards in the region. It also includes a greenhouse gas emissions calculator that helps companies estimate their carbon footprint. Thanks to this, they obtain relevant outputs for internal management as well as for non-financial reporting.
Value chain, validation, and practical outputs
For collecting information in the value chain, there is a clear dashboard that shows who has already submitted data and automatically aggregates it into understandable summaries. The platform also offers validation to prevent greenwashing: the responsible person can verify claims based on attached documents. Upon completion of the process, companies receive an action plan with recommendations on where and how to improve, and at the same time a certificate with an ESG score that can be used, for example, in tenders.
Automation helps smaller companies by allowing a questionnaire completed once to be shared with multiple customers using the same platform. If data from suppliers cannot be obtained, ESG scoring based on existing information is available – with coverage of all 320,000 companies in Slovakia and extension to the EU and the United Kingdom. The platform operates in more than 60 countries, is available in over 27 languages, works with approximately 175 partners, and records over 440,000 submitted questionnaires. All of this shortens the path from data collection to decisions with real impact.
