Presentation of the key aspects of the implementation of telemedicine in the institutional PZS/hospital environment, based on previous experience. Definition of telemedicine in theory, implementation of telemedicine and experience of institutional emergency room, selection of appropriate patient cohort, deployment process, importance of communication and understanding, motivation, required IT skills, telemedicine functionalities, patient management from the perspective of practice, benefits, opportunities and challenges.
