Rastislav Janota has more than 20 years of experience in the IT and telecommunications sector. During his professional career, he held several expert and top managerial positions in the field of ICT and cyber security both in the private sector and in public administration, both in Slovakia and in various countries abroad. Since September 1, 2023, he has been working as a special envoy of the NBU for cyber security at the Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Washington, D.C., USA.

In the company DÔVERA health insurance, a.s. she  has been working in the position of data protection, compliance officer and risk manager since April 1, 2018. Until that time, from 2009, she worked as a lawyer in the field of legal services. He has been working in health insurance companies since 2003. Between 2006 and 2009, she worked as a lawyer and compliance officer at Union health insurance company  In 2021, the Society for the Protection of Personal Data, of which Dôvera health insurance company is also a member, awarded her the Responsible Person of the Year 2020 award.
