Vladimír Slezák

He graduated from the Slovak University of Technology with a degree in machinery for the chemical and food industries. In the 1980s, he worked for TECHNOPOL and WAVO Trans. At CSK – IMS, he held the position of Head of the Sales and Technical Department until 1994. For the next five years, he headed the technical and sales department and later became the authorized representative of Schenck Slovakia. In 1999, he moved from ABB Elektro, where he worked as a sales manager, to Siemens. He first held the position of sales representative, and later became head of the Automation Technology and Drives division. In 2002, he assumed the roles of technical director and managing director. Since December 2008, he has been its CEO and representative of Siemens AG in Slovakia. He is currently also active as vice-chairman of the Slovak Chamber of Commerce and Industry, vice-president of the Slovak Engineering Industry Association, member of the Board of Directors of the Slovak -Austrian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, a member of the Board of Directors of the Slovak-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and a member of the Executive Committee of the Association of Industrial Unions and Transport, and is also a member of many other associations.
