Torben Hagen Britze
Currently Mr. Britze is working as an Strategic IT-Consultant and Enterprise IT-Architect within Healthcare in Europe and the Middle East.
Mr. Britze is currently a member of the Architectural Board for the Swedish National eHealth Portal.
Being in the IT-business since 1986, Mr. Britze has worked with every IT-discipline from programming, design, architecture, research, business analyses, project management, key account management and strategic consultancy.
Working as a Department Manager for Portals, eBusiness & eCommerce, Project Office & Research and Business Intelligence, Mr. Britze has a broad and deep IT and management experience.
Mr. Britze also has a range of experiences with international projects being Project Manager for projects involving India, UK and the US. Conducting eHealth workshops and meetings with local Ministries of Health and Local IBM teams in more than 20 Countries across EU, Middle East, US and Canada.
Mr. Britze has been working with Health IT and eHealth since 1992 being involved in building a range of national eHealth project for the Danish Ministry of Health, The Danish Board of Health and the Danish Medicine Agency. Since 2002 Mr. Britze has been involved in developing: “The Danish National eHealth Portal”. Mr. Britze was the IT-Architect and technical responsible for the The Danish National eHealth Portal offer. In the development phase Mr. Britze was the Project Manager. This includes responsibility of the implementation of the application, the standard software and the hardware and hosting environment. From 2006 to end 2007 Mr. Britze was the Key Account Manager in IBM Denmark for eHealth and Shared care and due to the technical background also working with Healthcare Strategic IT-Consultancy and Enterprise IT-Architecture in Denmark and Internationally.
Earlier Mr. Britze has been the Project Manager and technical responsible for a range of projects including health care projects for the National Board of Health and National Medicine Agency and portal projects for the Municipality of Aarhus, ARLA Food and Danish Crown.
