Slávka Porubcová works as a head pharmacist at the Hospital Pharmacy of the National Institute of Heart and Vascular Diseases in Bratislava and as an assistant professor at the Faculty of Pharmacy of Comenius University in Bratislava. She has long been dedicated to the development of hospital and clinical pharmacy, the role of pharmacists in multidisciplinary healthcare and the optimization of the safety of pharmacotherapy. She also focuses on the introduction of innovative technologies in the individual preparation of medicines into clinical practice and is actively involved in research projects in the field of pharmacy. She participates in the organization of professional and educational events for pharmacists. She is a member of the Scientific Committee of the European Association of Hospital Pharmacists (EAHP).
