Economist, health policy expert and Managing Partner at the consultancy Pažitný & Kandilaki. He is the founder and Executive Director of the Central and East European Health Policy Network. He also works at the Prague University of Economics and Business, where he teaches methods of economic evaluation of healthcare programmes, leads the specialisation in Healthcare Services Management and serves as a member of the University’s Academic Senate. He has long focused on health policy, healthcare financing and efficiency, health systems, and the economic evaluation of innovations. In the past, he served as an adviser to health ministers in Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Hungary, and has contributed to a number of national and international healthcare projects. He graduated from the University of Economics in Bratislava and studied Health Services Management at Semmelweis University in Budapest. He was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor at the Prague University of Economics and Business.
