Peter Novák is the CEO of Tatra Supercompute, a company building a scalable, modular AI Factory (data centre for training and inferencing of large language models) in CEE powered by sustainable energy sources. Peter has over 25 years of experience in banking and telecoms, where he has led major digital transformation programs, core banking migrations, M&A integration projects, and large-scale data center initiatives. He has served in senior leadership roles in IT, operations and change management, including as CIO/COOand member of the Management Board of Tatra Banka/RBI, VUB, Prima banka, responsible for developing digital channels and modernising core banking platforms. In recent years, his focus has shifted to Agentic AI, large language models (LLMs), infrastructure for generative AI, and quantum computing. As co-founder of Tatra Supercompute, he works with industry partners, the energy sector, and public authorities to position Slovakia as a key hub for sovereign AI infrastructure in Central Europe, exporting high-performance computing capacity and AI services rather than only traditional industrial output.
