Since November 2022, he has served as the President of the Banská Bystrica Self-Governing Region. He studied political science and economics at Masaryk University in Brno. During his studies, he became actively involved in civic and public initiatives—he is a co-founder of Demagog.sk, a platform focused on fact-checking politicians’ statements, and also helped establish the discussion format Masaryk Debates, based on the Oxford-style debate model. After completing his studies, he worked in regional development and tourism as the director of a regional tourism organization in the municipality of Stratená. He later joined the family-owned company Alfa Bio, where he contributed to its successful managerial transformation. He has since translated his experience from the public sector, entrepreneurship, and civil society into a political career at the regional level.
