Milan Fiľa
Milan FIĽA is a long-term project manager and business consultant in the field of development, investment, educational and R & D & I projects.
He works as the main coordinator of the National Business Center (NBC) Nitra under the responsibility of the Slovak Business Agency (SBA), a consultant at FLASH Consulting, s.r.o., and also as a teacher at the Institute of Economics and Management UKF in Nitra. He is a member of working groups focused on regional development, support for innovation and entrepreneurship in the city of Nitra and the Nitra self-governing region.
He works as the main coordinator of the National Business Center (NPC) Nitra under the responsibility of the Slovak Business Agency (SBA), a consultant at FLASH Consulting, s.r.o., and also as a teacher at the Institute of Economics and Management UKF in Nitra. He is a member of working groups focused on regional development, support for innovation and entrepreneurship in the city of Nitra and the Nitra self-governing region.
He worked at SAMSUNG Electronics Slovakia, s.r.o. and the Electrical Engineering Cluster - Western Slovakia as a project manager and expert in strategies and human resources development. Subsequently, also in a leading professional position at the Center for Scientific and Technical Information of the Slovak Republic. He managed and cooperated on a number of corporate, national and international projects, the creation of analytical and strategic materials for several central state institutions, self-governing regions, as well as cities and municipalities focused mainly on innovation, business support, cluster policies and vocational training. In the years 2014 - 2015, he held the position of Expert Guarantor and Chairman of the Expert Group for Cooperation between Universities and the Business Sphere. He also worked as the main nationwide coordinator for the National Business Centers in the regions under the responsibility of the SBA at the time of their creation.
He graduated from the Faculty of Economics and Management at SUA in Nitra, specializing in Finance, where in 2010 he also received a doctorate (PhD.) in Economics and Business Management. At the same time, since 2018 he has been a habilitated associate professor in the field of Economics and Business Management at Matej Bel University in Banská Bystrica and since 2021 an assessor of the Slovak Accreditation Agency for Higher Education. He is the author / co-author of more than 90 scientific and professional publications and a holder of the Six Sigma Green Belt certificate.
