Michal Rybár

Ministry of Education, Research, Development and Youth of the Slovak Republic, Head of Department for Digital Transformation
He graduated with a master's degree in mathematics and computer science from the University of Bristol. Subsequently, he defended his PhD in theoretical cryptography at the Institute of Science and Technology, Austria. In 2017, he joined the Teach program and worked as a teacher at Seňa Elementary School for three years. Since 2020, he has been working at the Ministry of Education, where he currently heads the Digital Transformation Department. He focuses on topics such as the digital transformation of schools, digital skills, the responsible use of artificial intelligence in education, cybersecurity in schools, and the role of school digital coordinators. He represents the ministry in national and international working groups such as WG Delta, European Schoolnet, and OECD Smart Data and Digital Technology.
