Director General of Research and Innovation Authority (VAIA) and Secretary of the Government Council for Science, Technology and Innovation. He is responsible for inter-ministerial coordination of innovation policy and for implementing reforms and investments under Component 9 of the Recovery Plan to develop Slovakia into an ambitious and innovative country. In addition to scientific monographs and university textbooks, his scientific output includes more than 50 publications in foreign peer-reviewed journals. He is also the author of more than two dozen patents and utility models. He is a member of the editorial boards of several renowned foreign scientific journals. In his scientific and research activities, he strives to advance science, research, and innovation with a focus on practical applications. In 2014, he received the Young Scientist Award for Personality in Science and Technology.
