He specialises in audit activities under ISA 315R, cybersecurity audits pursuant to Section 29 of the Slovak Cybersecurity Act, certification audits against technical standards, and compliance assessments relating to GDPR, local transpositions of NIS2, DORA, PSD2 and the SWIFT framework. In his work, he applies the principles of integrity, independence and objectivity. He presents findings and conclusions accurately and without distortion, helping organisations make effective management decisions based on up-to-date information and facts. He graduated in Applied Informatics with a specialisation in Information Systems Security from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology of the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava. For seven years, he performed IT audits, reviews for the National Bank of Slovakia and other audit and assessment activities at KPMG, PwC and Deloitte. In 2020, he became one of the first certified cybersecurity auditors in Slovakia and has since continued to develop his audit practice independently and as part of audit teams. His track record includes more than 400 IT and information security audits across the financial sector, energy, telecommunications, manufacturing, public administration and healthcare. He is an active member of ISACA and (ISC)² and holds CISA, CISSP, CDPSE, TOGAF and Senior Lead Auditor ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certifications, as well as internal auditor qualifications for several other technical standards. He shares audit methodologies and standards with the IT audit community and leads AuditClub in Slovakia. He also actively contributes to the review of legislation in the fields of IT and security. As an external lecturer at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology of the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava, he teaches IT and Security Audit.
