Matěj Misař
Matěj Misař has extensive experience in healthcare and the media. He is the co-founder of the startup Carebot. He manages business and marketing activities and is dedicated to the popularization of artificial intelligence in the healthcare sector. Thanks to artificial intelligence, Carebot helps doctors make more accurate diagnoses from X-ray and CT images. In the first year of operation with the Carebot team, he received several important awards, such as Deloitte Impact Stars, Pfizer HealthcareLab, Roche Digi@Med Award or Forbes 30 under 30. In the past, Misař moderated the main news session and discussion program, in which he hosted, for example, candidates for president and leading representatives of our country. He also regularly flew alongside government officials to meetings of the European Commission and opened several important media cases.

While the number of X-rays that a radiologist must evaluate during the year increases, the number of doctors remains almost the same. Modern healthcare is moving towards prevention and early detection of diseases, so it is clear that the volume of examinations will continue to grow in the coming years. One of the solutions can be artificial intelligence, which, provided by the Carebot company, is already able to analyze thousands of X-ray images of the chest and point out possible pathologies that may appear on the images. It is necessary to look at AI not as a replacement, but as a reliable partner of the doctor. How does AI work in practice? And what are its limits?
