Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic, Director-General of the Pharmacy and Medicines Policy Section
After successfully completing her general veterinary medicine training and international internships, she returned to treating people. She finds it wonderful when a patient receives medication that saves their life or at least significantly improves their quality of life. She took on this position in 2025, but has been established in the healthcare sector for over 20 years, more than half of which she spent in management roles, having worked her way up from the ground up. In 2003, she began as a medical representative at Berlin Chemie; after three years, she moved to Pfizer Luxembourg SARL, where she worked her way up to account manager within two years. She also gained experience starting in 2007 at GlaxoSmithKline Slovakia, where she led several teams and developed strategies for multiple products with reach beyond the Slovak Republic. Since 2013, she has served as CEO and Chair of the Board of Directors at Imuna Pharm a.s. Her experience in building a production facility for the aseptic manufacturing of pharmaceuticals and medical devices broadened her professional horizons. She leveraged her comprehensive understanding and perspective on drug development, manufacturing, and market launch in her subsequent roles. In 2016, she began focusing more on pharmacoeconomics as Managing Director of M&C Consulting Group, and on research and development as CEO of the Central European Biotech Institute. From 2023 to 2025, she led the Health Implementation Agency under the direct authority of the Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic, where she demonstrated her strengths in project management and strategic marketing. However, the field of pharmacy is closest to her heart, and so in 2025 she joined the Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic as Director General of the Department of Pharmacy and Drug Policy.
