How AI Can Help Cities and Local Governments Better Utilize Spatial, Map, and Public Data (7 min)
How can AI help cities and municipalities work better with spatial, map-based and public data? The discussion will offer a practical perspective on the origin of PlanCity.ai, a project that connects building permits, parcel data, public documents and other sources in a single map-based interface. It will also cover an AI agent that helps users search, combine and interpret data, as well as the experience of Mapka, an application launched during the cadastral outage following a cyberattack. The discussion will also address the limits and risks of deploying AI in urban environments.
