Martin Bezek graduated from the University of Economics in Bratislava at the Department of Public Administration and Regional Development. During his studies, he started working for regional self-government. After graduating from university, he continued to work at the Department of Strategy, Regional Development and Project Management of the Bratislava self-governing region where he worked on strategic documents for 6 years, participated in the preparation of the Integrated Regional Operational Program and prepared projects in education, social services and mobility.

He is currently working at the Ministry of Investment, Regional Development and Informatization of the Slovak Republic in the position of Director of the Department of Strategy and Information Technology Management of Public Administration. Together with their team, they assessed more than 50 projects financed from the Integrated Infrastructure Operational Program and worked on systematizing the rules in the state IT sector. In addition to national projects, the state IT team has launched demand calls and is preparing new rules for the management of IT projects in accordance with the Public Administration Information Technologies Act.
