Ransomware has been with us for some time and it is clear that we will not get rid of it in the foreseeable future. It causes extensive damage to organizations, so it is natural that they look for ways to protect themselves from it. In the presentation, we will look at the most common ways in which ransomware attacks, including examples of attacks on selected companies. Then we will point out ways to prevent and protect against destructive ransomware attacks. We emphasize the protection of data, which is the case in the event of its attack in the first place. Finally, we will mention the tools that Oracle offers to its customers to protect against a ransomware attack and eliminate the consequences of its attack.
