She has thirty years' experience in environment and health, risk assessment, molecular, cellular, genetic toxicology, molecular epidemiology, biomonitoring, biomarkers and DNA damage and repair. Professor at Oslo University. Also teaching at Commenius University Bratislava. Head of Health Effects laboratory at NILU. Until 2006, Head of Department of Experimental Genetics, Slovak Medical University, Bratislava (OECD GLP). 2005-2006 national expert, EC DGRTD Health, Brussels. 2008-2009 member of FP7 Advisory Group (Environment, climate change). Coordinated projects FP5 Centre of Excellence in Environmental Health HEARNAS, FP7 NanoTEST, NanOMEGA. Partner in: FP5/FP6/FP7 FIBRETOX, ESCODD, INTARESE, HENVINET, COMICS, NewGeneris, NanoImpactNet, NanoTOES, QNANO, NanoREG. Evaluator/reviewer for FP5/FP6/FP7 (health, food and environment, MCurie, SME). Standards Norway Committee-ISO/TC229 member. Two hundred publications in peer-reviewed journals/book chapters plus 3000 SCI citations, h-score 27.
