As a macroeconomist, he worked from 2004 to 2008 at the Ministry of Finance of the Slovak Republic as an expert in state aid. From 2008 to 2016, he worked at the European Commission (DG COMP) in state aid, gaining professional experience in data management and ensuring transparency in state aid. He worked on developing the SARI reporting tool for Member States and the EU's public register of State aid. From 2016 to 2020, he worked at the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister for Investment and Informatisation, where he gained experience supporting innovative projects in smart cities. Since 2020, he has worked at MIRRI SR as the national contact for the directly managed EU programmes Digital Europe and Connecting Europe Facility - Digital Part. He is mainly involved in information and communication activities towards the digital sector and advises those interested in support for digital projects from EU programmes. He is also a lecturer at the in-house MIRRI Academy.
