She graduated in Information Security from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology of the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava and has more than 10 years of professional experience in the field. She currently serves as Chief Information Security Officer at Piano Software, where she is responsible for protecting the company’s data and systems. She is also Director of the Women4Cyber Slovakia mentoring programme, through which she and other mentors support women in developing their careers in cybersecurity. Marcela is a passionate advocate for greater female representation in information security and is actively involved in raising awareness of the importance of information security among a wide range of stakeholders. Through her professional expertise and approach, she inspires others to become involved in the field.
