Ing. Jiří Pokorný graduated from the Faculty of National Economics, University of Economics, Prague, majoring in Regional Studies and Public Administration. From 2003 to 2016 he worked for GORDIC, s.r.o. In 2003-2007 as a methodologist and economist, accounting and budget analyst for public administration organizations. Between 2007 and 2016, he was a project manager and then sales director for selected clients in the public administration segment (regions and statutory cities) with emphasis on projects for implementing smart eGovernment solutions. Since 2017 he has worked as a consultant for Smart City and eGovernment and a Chairman of the Informatics and SMART Region of the Council of the Vysočina Region. His main activities include strategic and methodological support for Smart City and Smart Region projects in the Vysočina Region.
