Jakub Šuster is a communication expert who fights against hate and misinformation on the Internet.

In his career, Jakub Šuster focuses on strategic and political communication and the fight against misinformation using artificial intelligence. After graduating from political science at Brno's Masaryk University, he found employment at the Bratislava communications agency New School Communications as an account director, where he combined his interest in media and public events, communication and the contribution of technology for a safer and more democratic future.

In the agency, he helped launch the non-profit project Elfovia.sk, which helped activate the Slovak public in the fight against the disinformation scene and troll farms through the moderation of hateful content on the Internet. The success of the project led Jakub and his colleagues to the idea of connecting human power with artificial intelligence, and thus the startup elv.ai was born, where Jakub, as a co-founder, also acts as CEO.

He regularly speaks at AI and disinformation conferences. He is an active member of the European network for civil activism and freedom of post-totalitarian countries EDEN or the community of the European Parliament together.eu, also a member of the Representation of the European Commission of the Slovak Republic European Team Direct. In addition, he works as a volunteer in the Slovak startup community StartuPeak.

He prefers to spend his free time in active movement, in nature or reading specialist literature in the field of psychology.
