A communications expert who fights against hate and misinformation on the internet. He focuses on strategic and political communication and combating misinformation using artificial intelligence. After graduating in political science from Masaryk University in Brno, he found employment at the Bratislava-based communications agency New School Communications as an account director, where he combined his interest in media and public affairs, communication, and the contribution of technology to a safer and more democratic future. At the agency, he was involved in the launch of the non-profit project Elfovia.sk, which helped activate the Slovak public in the fight against disinformation and troll farms by moderating hateful content on the internet. The success of the project led Jakub and his colleagues to the idea of combining human power with artificial intelligence, resulting in the creation of the startup elv.ai, where Jakub, as co-founder, also serves as CEO. He is an active member of the European network for civic activism and freedom in post-totalitarian countries, EDEN, and the European Parliament community together.eu, as well as a member of the European Commission Representation in Slovakia, European Team Direct. Additionally, he volunteers in the Slovak startup community, StartuPeak.
