He is a professor at the Institute of Robotics and Cybernetics at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics of the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava. His research and teaching interests include the implementation of artificial intelligence methods in the field of control and robotics. His research interests include bio-inspired computational algorithms, evolutionary algorithms and machine learning. He is the author or co-author of 4 scientific monographs and many scientific articles in the above mentioned scientific fields. He is also engaged in popularization activities in the field of artificial intelligence, among other things, he is the author of a popular science book, which is devoted to the issue of artificial intelligence and its relationship to human society.
