She is a co-founder and lecturer at the Advance Healthcare Management Institute in Prague, which provides executive education in healthcare management. She has long been involved in analyses of public health insurance and hospital systems in Slovakia and the Czech Republic. Her work focuses on solutions for sustainable multi-source healthcare financing, innovative contracting models aimed at improving quality and efficiency, and hospital cost benchmarking using DRG systems. She is the author of several publications addressing informal payments in outpatient care, forecasts of healthcare expenditure in the context of population ageing and innovation, and comparisons of DRG reimbursement systems in Slovakia and the Czech Republic. In the field of long-term care, she highlights the need to devote the next 10 to 15 years to transforming the way long-term care is organised and to ensuring sufficient funding and workforce capacity. The aim is to ensure that people receive appropriate support in the final stage of life, enabling them not only to live longer, but also to enjoy a better quality of life.
