He studied at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the Technical University in Košice. He has been working in cybersecurity for more than 20 years. He has worked in the state and financial sector, successfully implementing complex security projects, in which he introduced information and physical security processes, starting with risk analysis, through creating a security strategy, implementing regulations, and implementing technical solutions. In addition to the security area, he led the Compliance and Anti-Money Laundering & Counter Terrorism Financing (AML&CTF) units and implemented the central procurement process in the bank. Before that, he was an employee of EMM, Ltd., where he was the Head of two departments - Security Analysis & Audit Department and Information Security & Infrastructure Department, while also holding the position of Cybersecurity Manager. Currently he is the Director of the Cyber and Information Security Department at the Social Insurance Institution.
