Erik Tomáš
He has served as Minister of Labor, Social Affairs, and Family of the Slovak Republic since October 2023. He began his professional career as a journalist and has worked for both public and private media companies. His experience in communications and media led him to the position of Director of the Communications Department at the Ministry of the Interior of the Slovak Republic, and later at the Office of the Government of the Slovak Republic. In this way, he combined his communication skills and media experience with work in public administration. He later served as State Secretary at the Ministry of Education of the Slovak Republic, where he contributed to the management and development of the education sector. From 2016 to the present - spanning two legislative terms - he has served as a Member of the National Council of the Slovak Republic. In this role, he was a member of the Committee on Social Affairs, where his work and dedication contributed to the development of social policy. He has championed several social welfare laws designed to support citizens.
